i am going to the photographer to give him all my pics for my album (finally!! ) so, we get a 11x14 enlargement.. now, are you supposed to pick a picture that is farther away, or close up? i really dont have any in the middle.. they are one extreme to the other. close, or far.
thanks ladies!!

Re: Question about picture enlargements
Hi Deanna,
I didn't pick my enlargement (or my album) yet but when I do any photos 8x10 or larger will be full length shots. I prefer to keep the smaller pictures close ups. It would freak out if my face in a picture was bigger than it is in real life.
You only get to wear that dress once I say show it off!!! Your house will be filled with pics of soon so get a nice one of you and your dh!!!

Re: Question about picture enlargements
I don't think there are any 'rules' per se to picking them. Are there any that you just absolutely love? If so, those would be the lead contenders. There are some shots that aren't posed (one is a candid from our ceremony, the others are candids from the reception) that we are considering using as one of our enlargements.

Re: Question about picture enlargements
Yea i am doing this tonight - i picked a far away shot for the blow up because I can't stand a huge picture of our faces starring at us. I picked 8 x 10 of a full length but semi close up shot and for our 'head shots' I am going to just print 5 x 7

yea i was thinking the same thing.. i dont want it to be sooo blown up if i picked a close up! but i was afraid that the ones farther away would be hard to see.. does that make sense?

When the picture is blown up it should make it easier to see. Also your photographer should be able to crop it and zoom in on an area in a pic.
Pic out the ones you think you want to enlarge and when you meet with them they should be able to give you an idea of how they will look and maybe show you some examples.
