do u usually get to see it before the videographer makes a final editted copy?

We got an unedited cut and then they edited it. before they edited it, they asked if we wanted anything specifically taken out. I never saw the in between, I trusted them so there was no need to see it.

i didn't...
but the final copy was 5 hours long, so he clearly didn't take too much out... he was so good, he knew what to film and i think didnt' have to edit much out. it was perfect!

I didn't get the option but I had a choice to send it back if I wanted it edited differently.

It totally depends on the company you booked with, they all do different things. If you ask about doing the editing with them, I'm sure they will be accommodating, but they dont usually like that because its more work for them. But most would honor your request. Also it depends on what you want done. Good luck with it

I was given the raw footage and have the option in helping with the editing! I'm just gonna let them do it though!

we didnt get to 'preview' anything. he called us when it was all done and we watched some of it in the office there....we got both edited and unedited versions.

I juuuuust got it....watched it 10 minutes ago! It's a hour-plus 'edited'.
Makes me reeeeaaaallly happy to have gotten: -video -eyelash extensions (all that fluttering looks good) -my fabulous wedding dress -I actually AM a good dancer (I always thought I stunk) -handsome husband -lots of laughter...it really can't be captured on photos
Sorry...I'm excited...but can't show anyone because a beloved family member is on it....and that would hurt right now! (another reason to get one!...for the time after...)
