It may be a Stupid Question....

But if you Do Not have cooking spray.....what can you use instead to grease up cooking sheets.

You & Gary can start Heading out now.
I know you will be coming from BK.
We'll wait for you Both.

Two options

My Favorite - cuts down on clean up time:
1. Parchment Paper

OR

2. Spread butter over cookie sheet using paper towel and then sprinkle flour on the cookie sheet

ETA: Those are if you are making cookies. For you the paper towel with butter should be fine, no flour needed.

Sounds good.

My DH keeps saying to use olive oil.

I tell him NO.

That's not what my Girls are saying

Re: Question for our Cooks & Bakers

for baking, any oil with very little flavor.... canola oil, veg oil? or butter... just a teaspoon and then wipe with a papertowel

I hate those sprays... there's so much garbage in most of them.... including alcohol which I swear I can taste in the final product

if you're doing cookies, I highly recommend using some parchment paper (usually near the foil (or near baking stuff) in the supermarket) on top of the cookie sheets. It not only prevents sticking (no need to lube down the sheet), it also prevents overbrowned cookie bottoms
