Question of the day for March 29th

OK if I said to you, I am going to give you $1000 and tell you that you can either spend it on yourself or on your home for decorations not bills and you CANNOT spend it on your hubby. Which would you do and why?

And you can't split it- it's one or the other!

For me at this point I would spend it on my house. I really feel like the effects of decorating my house will last much longer than me getting a massage or a manicure/ pedicure.

Well if i had to spend it NOW. I would spend it on MYSELF

I want to sell my condo soon and since I did a lot of home repairs already and i am not planning on spending anymorel

So the money is all for ME
It would be part of my summer wardrobe

We will be moving into our house soon too, so I would put it into things for the house. I want to make it homey as soon as possible but I know we will have to do it bit by bit.

honestly, I would spend it on me. And, my DH would be very happy about that. Not to get all into our nitty-gritty, but I am MORE than generous with my DH.

And, if ya'll read my post about the taxes, you'll understand better.

But, it that number was more like $5k, I would put it toward repairing the condo.

$1k won't do much for repairs, so I'd spend it on me

We're renting now so I wouldn't spend it on our apartment, so then I guess I'd have to spend it on myself! I really don't know what I would do with it, I guess a day at a spa and some new clothes.

I would definitely put it toward the house. I certainly don't need any more clothes.

Can we put it toward saving for a house? If so, that's what I'd do. But if it is really just for decorations, we also rent right now, and I need a massage or three as well as new clothes - so I'd blow it all on myself!
