Whether it's your first, second, or tenth! Since we are all so jealous of Shamma going to the Caribbean on her anniversary ... I thought this post may give us some ideas of things to do on our anniversary. It's never to early to start planning, right?
Okay ... we are planning to go to Aruba on our 1st anniversary! We have a timeshare there too.

OH GOODY!!!! Conga line forms behind me and Anna!!!! I used to travel all the time before I met Joe, but since we've been together the only plane we've gone on is to Aruba for our honeymoon, and I had to literally kick him out of the house to get in the cab to go to the airport!!!! He wants to take Amtrak and I will never, ever, ever, ever get on the train to and from hell ever again, so I told him to let me know what time his train gets in and I'll pick him up at the station!!!!
He's a big party pooper, that's what he is!!!! Anna, you're right -- him and John should get together and we can tell them when to pick us up at the airport. And Michelle too because Steve won't fly either. What is UP with these MEN??????
Shamma, we've been to Atlantic City and Foxwoods and the other one, but I could care less about the gambling -- I want to SEE everything!!!

I can't believe how many of your men don't fly Drug them up and take them on the planes.
Lisa this is all I can say!! WOW!!! I know who to ask for things to do and places to go, when we do go.
I see some of you ladies say a week in July or a week in Aug etc, in regards to the timeshare in Aruba, does that mean that is the only time you can use that time share there??? I am confused, b/c ours does not work that way. We do not have an assigned week per se...could someone please clarify??

You have assigned weeks Shamma but you can deposit your week and trade for another one. Anna ... I love the weekend getaway deals ... I have yet to use them, but they sound great and cheap. As far as other RCI resorts ... I've only been to the Mayan Palace in Acapulco (sp?) and Westin Regina in Puerto Vallarta. Both were beautiful!

Shamma, yes our timeshare is designated every year to week 45 (November), we can get out of it if we need to also but we chose that week because we wanted to go away when it starts to get colder here!
