Quick DMV Question!

Can I just bring my SS card with my new name on it to change my name? Or do I need the marriage cert? Because Im not sure where it is

I think you would need the marriage cert, but I am not 100% sure.

I think you need your marriage certificate; plus, if you want to change your name on your title, bring your current title with you.

Yep... marriage cert is gone... cant find it anywhere... it prob found its way into the garbage when i was cleaning out boxes of things we never unpacked! I would think a SS card is ultimate proof... I mean i had to show my marriage cert to get it... It better be okay

ETA: Scratch that... LOL It was actually in my important papers case... LOL Whoa im a dumbasss... completely forgot about having that thng...
