Random Q about microwave meals (lean cuisine types)

As I sit and eat my Healthy Choice steamer (delicious btw) I couldn't help thinking how the dish would be healthier if it was made with whole grain or whole wheat pasta. Then I got to thinking about all the companies - lean cuisine, smart ones, healthy choice, etc. don't use things like brown rice or whole wheat. It would be so much better. Why don't they do that?

Maybe they haven't perfected it's texture when microwaved??

i have seen SOME with brown rice....but definetly not whole wheat pasta.... good question! i wonder if there's some strange reason why

The only ones I've found with all whole grains are the Kashi ones and the ones I've tried were really good.

Southbeach makes their frozen meals with whole grain products and they are delic! Alittle more $$ but you can get them on sale for a decent price!

the lean cuisine lemon chicken has brown rice, but thats the only one I can think of.

I'm thinking it's b/c some people dont like brown rice or whole wheat pasta. Its all we eat in our house, but my sister and her DH wont eat it. I like it better, personally.
