Registry Throwback Question...

Does anyone know what the name of the kitchen utensil is that is a long, flat blade, like it almost looks like a meat cleaver, but it has a handle going across the top, not extended off the side? It almost looks like a mezzaluna, but it's bigger. and straight. It's used for scooping up chopped items to transport in to a pot or pan from the cutting board...if you watch Rachael Ray's 30 Minute Meals she uses it a lot...

I was at Macy's and they didn't have it, and I can't find it at BBB because I don't know what it would be called! Does anyone have it or know what it's called?

No problem - Rachel Ray actually makes her own brand of them...... I think I saw them at that cooks outlet store in Tanger in Riverhead.

Yet I still can't find it under that name? Is it actually called a scraper, or something else?

You can also find them at the Betty Crocker store online.

Awesome, thank you! I found one at Williams and Sonoma too, and Oxo makes one apparently, but it's not carried by BBB or Macy's.

Awesome, I'll probably check out Target or WS because I don't want to pay shipping on something so ridiculous lol.
