Do you have thing you regret getting for your home??
For example...DH and I got a white leather couch (everyone said we were crazy....) but we loved so we got it. We have friends over a lot and it is so annoying....cleaning this thing is a full time job I just had a full on workout scrubbing the thing clean

ahhh i know it s*cks bc some things that look amazing dont always work out. DH really wants leather couches too, but i had them in the past and i said not sure if i want it. Winter they're always cold and summer you sweat on them lol. BUt i do admit i love the brown ones so who knows.
I can only imagine how hard the white is to keep up, but i am sure it looks amazing

It looks great..but when people come over they stand Im like JUST SIT we have to live its not a museum hahaha
I agree with the leather thing,,,in cars too...my car has black leather and Im always hot or cold...next car no leather

I have a cream colored sofa and I wish I got it in a mocha color...
When its just you and DH why dont you put a cover over it and take it off when guests come over...my mom did that she had that sofa for ten years and its still like brand new

we havent really purchased anything HUGE like a couch or bedroom furniture... pretty much all the stuff we had in our apt
DH bought our flat screen and the ent. center which i feel like it something that you cant really go wrong with as long as its the kind of make you want (like dark or light wood etc)
we had a couch from the apt that we have now... i eventually want a wrap around couch tho

Many! I would have got a sectional, changed the paint color, gotten a ped sink like Joe wanted in the bathroom, and a new desk...oh and different flooring,...Oh and rearranged the kitchen and bought a table! Ok i'm done now

I regret letting DH choose the carpet for the bedroom. We had beautiful hardwood floors but he was dead set on having carpet in the bedroom so he chose this horrendous white and blue shag type carpeting. I don't know why I let him do it but he did and it looks like a smurf blew up in my bedroom

we don't have a house yet but i don't regret anything that we've bought so far....its been hard - we try to be really picky b/c anything we've bought we want to make sure we love it enough to want to bring with us when we have a house....i wish we could buy more stuff but its not worth it now - its better to wait until we actually move but i still wish i could get certain things like bedroom furniture....

YES, off white (cream really) area rug for under our leather in the formal living room. We wanted to cover the hardwood but should have gotten something darker.
our puppy was sick for a while, so lets just say that rug was cleaned MANY, MANY times. Hard to keep it clean

We've been pretty fortunate with everything so far. I love all our furniture. I've been pretty good at convincing DH the changes we should make to the house. I hope I can convince him to rip the carpet in the hall upstairs and on the stairs so I don't regret not doing that later! We have gorgeous oak wood floors underneath that are easy to clean and maintain!

We have been in our house 2 yrs and haven't painted or put up curtains so its a bit barren! Lol! Also I am not crazy about some pictures we bought and hung but they can always be moved or taken down.
AND my last comment is we have wood floors throughout and although they are so nice - they are HIGH maintenance!

yes our living room furniture,
there was 2 that we really liked and we decied to go with the one, that was much cheaper, well 2years later it looks like a crappy cheap sofa, should have def spent the extra money for the nicer sofa. Which would have prob held up much much better

OMG YES!!!!
I regret getting White marble in our entrance foyer.
I have to keep it covered with a rug all the time, because it gets sooooooooooo scratched up if you walk with shoes on it It also stains very easily so that is really annoying.
I also regret doing our powder room in a similar white marble because it stains so bad, and men have bad aim! so i can see little yellow stains plus it get scratched from people walking on it, and my cleaning lady left the chrome toilet cleaner on it, and there is a rust stain in the shape of a circle on the side of the toilet

ughhh we have off white micro fiber couches. Im a slave to shampooing and spot cleaning them. We have a boxer who if even slightly rubs by them leaves a mark.
We got the couchs before the dog. I regret that color more than ever now.

we rent so theres nothing too bad that we regret...but we HATE our couches. we got the cheapest set we could find because we figured we'd get a nice set when we bought a house and would just toss these but they are SOOO uncomfortable!!
when you lay down on it you feel like youre falling forward!

me & DH were extremely picky when we went shopping for furniture. I think so far I'm really happy with all of our choices. His old apartment had this horrible couch, so we certainly learned from his mistake. lol. It was very pretty - velvet black. The only problem is that it STAINED soooo easy, and it was really uncomfortable. Certainly not something you'd wanna lay down on while watching a movie. Ugh. So we definitely knew what we were NOT looking for this time around when we went shopping for the house
