Re: Regret house choices....
Our bedroom wood color, we were given 3 dressers in nice shape from a family member which was great, however, they are in a honey (oak color?) brown wood. So, when we bought our bed and side tables we bought to match the same color of the dressers but I really don't like it. DH & I had always wanted a dark mahogany bedroom set but we kinda got stuck with this one.
Also the way our flat screen TV is sitting on a table looks ridiculous b/c the sides are longer and stick out the sides. but we can't mount it b/c we have plaster walls and it would be a nightmare, basically we have no entertainment appropriate furniture.
I also was dead set on painting the dining room a yellow/gold tone, DH wanted dark red. Should have went with his choice, its too mustardy color and even grosser b/c we have a red oriental rug on the floor.
