Restaurant recommendations in Midtown

Me & DH are going to see Young Frankstein next Saturday. Can anyone recommend a good restaurant? looking for either a steakhouse, Italian or Sushi. Doesn't have to be in the theatre district. preferably in midtown, not too far from Penn Station.

Thanks !

I love Latanzie on Restaurant Row (never remember if its 46 or 47). It is a little pricey, but really authentic Italian Food. Not too touristy, and very romantic. Have fun!

My favorite restaurant is Ipanema on West 46th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues). They have the most amazing Brazilian steak!

For italian theres Tony Dinapoli's which is by the times square area

Theres also Pietrasanta which is delicious and in the times square area. Its more Northern Italian cuisine so they have some typical italian dishes but also alot of italian dishes you dont see just at any typical italian place.

Plataforma-also times square area, its a brazilian churasscaria.

Vagabondo-italian restaurant close to the lexington area. Very good italian food, and has bacci ball you can play in there.

Theres bobby flay's Bar American

Cabana for cuban food-problem is theres no reservations and can get crowded so not sure what your wait time would be.

Victors cafe-also cuban food

Theres also Houston's which i like. I go there alot for the spinach artichoke dip. The one in mid-town is also nice and big and good atmosphere.

For a steak house there is Bobby Van's, Rothmans, smith and wollensky's and sparks

Theres Tao, not sure when you are going but maybe you can still get a reservation.

Dont really like sushi so no recommendations for that.
