RSVP ?
I expect that many guests will not RSVP on time. That seems to be a big complaint from most brides. I was wondering though, did you find that the people you had to contact to find out if they were attending WERE planning to come or WERE NOT planning to come? We're finding that RSVP's are coming in very, very slowly. BTW, the wedding date in my profile is incorrect to throw off my daughter in case she looked at the boards. There were times I wrote things I'd rather she not read. Thanks for any info.

Re: RSVP ?
It was sort of split - single guests were holding out trying to find a date but most of them came to the wedding. The out of town people were generally no's.It's the must frustrating part of wedding planning.

Re: RSVP ?
I found that the slow RSVPers were people that were coming but just forgot to send it in. But on the other hand, on DH's side of the family, the nonresponders are famous for not responding. I had one late responder that said yes for him and a date and never showed up. He supposidly got sick.

Re: RSVP ?
I think that everyone we had to call was NOT coming. There may have been one or two yes's in the bunch, but it was predominantly NO's.

Re: RSVP ?
Almost all of the people who didn't respond to my wedding on time did not come to the wedding. Some who were coming but didn't mail the response on time did contact me and let me know why they were olding off (mostly single friends who were trying to decide if they were bringing a date or not.)

Re: RSVP ?
Most of the people who did not respond didn't come, there were a few with date issues, but for the most part it was people who did not intend to attend
