someone sent it to DH so we were spying on someone in his family who always brags about how much money they make

you can see police, fire dept, teachers....its nuts! that would freak me out if people could look me up on there!

That doesnt include overtime...like with cops I know a lot of their salary is overtime, teachers make what is called persession so they could actually be making a lot more than shows

well yea, it actually says that right on the site (that its only shows the base salary) but i would say that its still pretty informative

It is....for Dept of ed there is a salary schedule so you basically know what people make (sometimes not exactly bc if you have more grad school credits you make more) but basically its public knowledge..the website is insane though

I guess its really not that big of a deal because their jobs arent like regular office jobs where everybody makes a different salary. I know for cops and fireman it goes by time on the job so all cops and firemen with 10 years on the job will make the same base salary and the only thing that differentiates them is their overtime.

I can't find myself but I assume it's because I just started in September. I will have to check back next year.

i'm so depressed now! lol i'm comparing my salary to my co-workers and i'm sooo not happy.... some people aren't even listed... is there a way to get your name off this database?

I don't think you can, as someone stated.
Most of us take the tests and the grades are put out there for everyone to see. I guess if someone knows your grade , then they know your salary as well. It's not a huge secret.

I don't think you can, as someone stated.
Most of us take the tests and the grades are put out there for everyone to see. I guess if someone knows your grade , then they know your salary as well. It's not a huge secret.

true true i know it's all public info anyway... but some of my co-workers aren't coming up at all... so i was wondering if they knew some magic trick to get off this database lol haha

wow, i can't believe this out there... but i couldn't help myself & put some of my friend's name. actually, i was surprised one of my friend's who spends money like she is loaded.... well according to this website she is not

Don't forget this may be info from 2007 ( I know the govt one is ). . . excluding things like overtime.

I couldnt find myself at first but duh, i am listed under my maiden name of course

i liked this website-i dunno if i would like it if i was on it so much-but then again, salary talk doesnt bother me much.

i was glad to see how much ppl maked-so i have an idea if i get one of these jobs!!
