As many of you already know, the pilot who landed on the Hudson is receiving a key to the city today and its live on tv right now. They are at city hall, along with his crew.

yeah later on i think they are doing something else for him.
Awwww he totally does deserve it. They showed some of the passengers earlier and i think they will get to see him today they all want to thank him.
the flight attendants are also getting keys to the city, thats nice
I'm at work I'm missing it. I'll look it up on-line later. I'm glad it's for him and HIS CREW. They deserved something as well.

I'm glad they're doing something to acknowledge it. I'm also glad they're acknowledging his crew too! The whole thing was just amazing! I haven't gotten to hear him speak yet...I know he was on something else too but I missed it.

i am stuck at work, and missing it, but
this morning i think on channel 6, they had him meeting some of the passengers on the flight and it was amazing. It brought tears to my eyes

I heard Sully hasn't flown since. I heard they don't know when he will fly again.
Listening to the audio of what happened gives me the chills. He sounded so calm, its unreal.

yeah they all haven't. THey asked the 3 flight attendants if they will fly again and 2 said yes and1 said she doesnt know yet.

he really acts like it was not a big deal and he knew what to do....
he listed like 8 things he had to do at the same time to pull off that landing..... amazing!!!!!!!
