Has anyone been to/from Saratoga? My DH was talking with one of his coworkers and the guy said that it's nice up there, etc etc.......Any of you girls been up there? Any info on the area??

I haven't been up in a couple of years, but DH and I have been a few times years ago for the big races in August. If that's your plan, know that the hotels and B&Bs in the area book up super-quick. I don't remember where we've stayed unfortunately, maybe DH will, I'll ask him.
It's a really cute little town....lots of restaurants and things like that. Def. try and go to the track to watch the horsies if you go...that's the big thing to do up there.

We went to a wedding there this past fall. It was a beautiful town! Very old/Victorian, and very close to Albany so you get the larger town/city access.

I went there for a work conference a few years ago. It is a really cute small town that would be great for a long weekend. There are lots of shops and restaurants.

We are invited to a 50th wedding anniversary up there. Waiting to hear if my DH can get off for that weekend.

i love it up there I haven't been in a few years but the last time i went i didn't want to come home. it's very cute and quaint up there, or at least, it was...
