SATURDAY 1/16 NWQOTD!!!

Hey girls!

I woke up super early this morning because I'm sick. My throat is killing me and I'm cranky. Wah.

Anyway, that made me think about today's QOTD, which I guess is my last one!

How does DH act when he's sick? Does he want to be left alone? Does he want you to take care of him?

DH is the WORST, BIGGEST BABY when he doesn't feel well. You would think no one had ever had a headache or a cold when DH gets one. His entire world STOPS and he feels the need to talk about it 100% of the time. It is so annoying!

It's also sort of funny. Last week he solemnly told me that he wasn't going to be able to get his hair cut - at 7:00 a.m. - because he had a headache. a) I don't care about your hair and b) it's 7:00 a.m.! You have an entire DAY to get your hair cut!

DH hardly ever gets sick, but when he does get sick he such a baby and wants to be taken care of immediately, He doesn't care if I'm at work or not, he would love if I left work to rush home to take care of him.

This week has been the worse though, were both sick, me with a cold and him with stomach bug from the HM, so I have to take care of us both. At night its rather a pathetic sight the two us camped out on the couched not to be bothered.

Oh sorry you are feeling bad! I'll answer early bc I'm off to the catskills with friends for the wknd!

DH is weird when he is sick. Like he totally wants to be taken care of but has a hard time saying what he needs. .like will say 'oh I don't need anything' but he wants something. .he's def aware of it and working on it though bc I am happy to help but I have to KNOW what he needs - bc he tries to hide it so he's not a burden on me but it's obvious anyway!

DH is hardly ever sick. He is just usually cranky. He takes care of himself no problem. Though he doesn't take care of himself well. He hasn't been sick since our wedding, but last time he was sick I gathered up soup, tea, vitamins, cold meds, a thermometer and dropped it all off for him. He wouldn't have used any of those things.

I get sick so easily so I usually try to stay away from him when he is sick.

DH is pretty miserable when he's sick. He's not usually sick sick, but he has really bad allergies, and when my cat was alive he would make me feel really terrible and awful and guilty by saying shiz about him. Now he's dead, and DH is not, so I guess he won that battle.

But he was just sick with a cold a few weeks ago, and yes, I had to tuck him in on the couch, bring him tea, bring him the tissue box, and generally coddle him.

this question ...soooo apropos! if you listen carefully, you'll hear brian coughing and sneezing and clearing his through and ...sniffling and whining and complaining and calling me... poor baby :o( he's got a nasty little cold right now...just in time for the 3-day weekend! (yipee!)

if you couldn't tell from my description, he's sorta a big baby...but not in an annoying way...just in a 'hold me, hug me, pet my head...make me soup kinda way'... honestly, it's very cute and i love him to death so it works out. i don't mind because he's very attentive and caring to me when i'm sad or don't feel good, so i gladly return the favor... *sigh*...back to the soup pot i go girls!

DH is really quiet and a little sad when he's sick. He also refuses to take anything to help with symptoms most of the time. He just stays in bed and sleeps until he gets better. I guess that's a good thing. I wait on him hand and foot if I can when he's sick to try to help. We're like a little old couple.

HE IS A BIG BABY!!!!! He drives me crazy cause when Im sick he doesnt want to be near me.
