Saturday 3/6 QOTD

Original post by MirabellaNYC

SO my last QOTD as your NWOTW is a 2 parter with a poll-

Are you and your DH more 'City People' or 'Suburbanites', and why??

And based on your answer, where would you most like to live, if money wasn't an option?

Totally suburban. in LI you have the option of a 'city like' town with the beach up the block (at least where i grew up it was like that in Lido/Long Beach). We love to go out in teh city but always enjoy coming home.

If money was no expense I would definitely live in the Atlantic Beach Estates ( i always need a beach near me). Beautiful gorgeous home but we are talking MILLIONS!

I am totally a city person. . I love the action, the being able to walk everywhere. . mornings like today. . met a friend for yoga then we walked to the union square farmer's market, then a little cheese shop, the park and just LOVE it. . DH is a city person but also wants space, a yard, etc. . so I think he would be more happy to move somewhere else or at least have a country home somewhere (which is a joke since we don't even own our own apt!!!)

I'm with jenn that i would LOVE a brownstone in brooklyn so could have space, a yard, and feeling of a neighborhood and house but also the city!!!

We live in the suburbs now but DH & I are really city people. I went to HS in the city and DH works in the city and now we go in every chance we get. Its too quiet up here and people don't give personal space and ask too many questions. lol I like my city mentality of 'your business is yours & my business is mine'.

We live in Queens but I think we're much more suburbanites than city people. We both NEED our cars and could do without going into Manhattan. I honestly think I could even go further than surburbanite - I would love to live in a more rural area with a lot of property!
