They get to swim in the afternoon, so I packed his bathing suit in his backpack for him to change into.
I picked him up and asked all about his day... He was excited and had fun but then his mood changed and said:
'hey, ma... could you maybe give me underpants that don't have things on them, from now on?'
He then went on to tell me that the other kids were laughing at him in the changing room b/c his underpants had trucks on them.
I have to remind myself that he's not a little boy anymore... He's had the underpants in question for a while now, he's just a skinny kid and hasn't outgrown them...
I guess I need to go out and buy some tighty-whities..
my poor kid... I hate imagining what he went through in those moments.. I know it's not a major deal, but I'm sure for HIM, it was...

Aww that's just sad. Kids are cruel they are just jealous they had ugly undies and your son's were cuter. I could just imagine how you that you want to protect him. Makes so much sense.
I told him he should be like 'so what... I got trucks on my underwear...'
but i REALLY want him to look at them DEAD ON and say 'your mother gave them to me'

AWWW your poor son I remember when I had a white tank top with red cherries on them, it was an undershirt, and it was sticking out from under my sweater when i was in 2nd grade and i remember this red headed brat heather pulled on it and laughed in my face that i have cherried on my shirt

Tommy has a pair with Taz on them->he would kill me he knew I posted that
LOL Men who wear boxers always have things on their underware. DH got excited about penguins on his once. LOL. I guess tighties are different though...
