silly question for you married folk...

What do you wear to bed on a nightly basis? Obvioulsy lingerie is for 'special occasions'...at what point do you stop wearing that pretty stuff every night? I live by myself and wear tee shirts and boxers to bed...what should I expect after we're married??

Re: silly question for you married folk...

I wear either nothing, undies & a tee or pajamas, depending on the weather.

We live together 3 yrs now so pretty stuff is for occasions only & then that comes off fast too

Re: silly question for you married folk...

What a cute question!

I've been in sweats and t-shirts all along.
I'm boring...I know...we also lived together for a while before the wedding.

Re: silly question for you married folk...

I always thought that I would wear the Victoria Secrets collection .....not a chance. Please at this point I buy the 5 for $25 underwear from there. I was a sweats and t-shirt girl before, and I'll be that way forever. And for the record, for some reason I can't sleep in my 'birthday suit', and most people can, so t-shirts are my sleeping wardrobe!!

Re: silly question for you married folk...

I wear a tshirt, and if cold, yoga pants. OK, they aren't really yoga pants, but that's what they look like. Comfy stretch loose fitting pants.

Sometimes I'll wear a fleece nightgown that I have. It's like a tank top, and the length of a tshirt. Very comfy.

If I put on the nice stuff, it doesn't last very long, so then I just get into my normal PJs anyway.

Re: silly question for you married folk...

I usually wear short and a t-shirt or pj pants and a tank top. DH hates what I wear to bed. He'd prefer me to wear some V-secret stuff. I want to be comfortable. We compromised and I buy nice pj's
The sexy stuff is occasional and I don't wear it to sleep in

I only wear lingerie on special occasions or when we are on vacation. Tanks and pajama bottoms are worn every night.

Re: silly question for you married folk...

I wear camisole tanks with PJ bottoms. They're actual PJ sets.

Sometimes I'll wear a long T-shirt.

I can't sleep in my B-day suit either! I feel too....cold or vulnerable or something.

Re: silly question for you married folk...

FH & I live together & b/c he works nights he's only here on the weekends. He crashes in his t-shirt & boxers & I in my Old Navy PJ bottoms & a tank top...very sexy, I know. In the winter its the fleecy PJ bottoms for me & a t-shirt or PJ tops. Rarely does the V-secret stuff come out

Re: silly question for you married folk...

This summer I've been wearing nightgowns - sexy, but not the super-sexy kind - since I got some for my shower. In the winter, usually pajama bottoms and a t-shirt.
