Snoring spouse support group

Anyone else out there suffering sleepless nights because your preciouse DH sounds like a grizzly bear? Any tips/advice on what to do? I love my husband while he's awake but some nights I contemplate choking him just to shut him up! I'm dying for a decent nights sleep

My Dh could wake the dead. It is so bad that sometimes it bothers me when I'm in the bedroom and he is in the living room. He usually lets me fall asleep first and then comes to bed. His mom just gave me some sort of spray to help but I haven't tried it yet.

I sleep with ear plugs every night. It seems to be the only remedy to work so far (although it still wakes me up sometimes). I buy the foam ones from the drug store or supermarket. It is annoying but I guess you get used to it after a while.

I nudge him to roll over since he usually only snores on his back. He had nasal surgery in January to correct his deviated septum, but he still snores. He didn't snore when we were dating. We both think his snoring came about from him gaining weight.

I thought I was the only one, he is in denial he snores!
I just kind of move my leg in the bed and it disturbs him and he turns over and stops snoring for awhile, hey anything can help. I once thought that the phone was ringing he made this weird noise, it was just a snore... sometimes he tosses and turns so much I feel like I am on a log flume! The sheets even come off sometimes. I get jiggled aorund, when it gets that bad I wake him up, why should I have to suffer............... SNORING SPOUSES SUPPORT GROUP UNITE!!!!!!

Can I please be part of this support group? I move around like CRAZY until he wakes up. One week for three nights in a row, he said 'Want me to go on the couch?' My response: 'Absolutely!!!'

Re: Snoring spouse support group

I think when we buy a house I'm going to dedicate a spare bed to escape to for those nights when he really wails. There are some nights where it hardly bothers me and then there are those other nights. I wish I wasn't such a light sleeper!! My DH used to only snore when he was on his back but lately it seems no matter what position he's in he'll snore the night away.

Thank GOD DH isn't a snorer! I feel for you all - my Dad has got to be the worst I've ever heard and I'm so glad that I don't have to deal with that like my poor mother has had to all these years!
DH doesn't make a peep when he sleeps (other than talking in his sleep )

I usually start by kicking then I say shhh then I start pushing him. Once I pushed his jaw closed it totally freaked him out he started swating at the air. I quickly pretended I was sleeping.

I snore. Really really bad. My poor dh ends up on the couch. Sometimes a cold air humidifier works.

Re: Snoring spouse support group

Usually if I can fall asleep before he does than I can sleep through it BUT if he gets to sleep before me which is 95% of the time then I'm in trouble. I have to keep shaking him, nudging him and telling him to roll over. Sometimes he is sooooooo loud I wake him & say 'are you gonna stop snoring so I can get some sleep?' and he'll say....'oh was I?' Meanwhile it was soooo loud that the bed was vibrating!!!!

Luckily, he ONLY does it when his nose is stuffy. I would NEVER sleep if he snored every night.
