Snowy work Day & Karin's Bday! 1/15/09

It is not a pretty sight out there. Took me forever to get to work and the roads are slippery. I slid all the way into our parking lot this morning -- so glad I didn't crash and it is coming down again!

Going home is going to be a blast!

I'm here. It took me an hour and 45 minutes to get to work

... and to boot, i was 3 inches away from sliding into the presdients parked car. then i almost hit a tree.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I'm working from home today, but DH didn't take my Jeep and now I'm worried sick about his drive home. He left at 5 this morning with his crappy truck that does not do well in this weather. Why is he so stubborn

Happy birthday! I drove in to work, roads are not so bad but if you go over ground tracks there is a problem with the signals so might not be worth going in.

I will probably leave early anyway!

I am here :( I wanted to turn around once I got to the side streets though. After that one accident I had December of 07, I am still a bit scared of driving in the snow :( I just want to go homeeeeee. I have a UTI and it's not nice sitting here at my desk and having to go to the bathroom every hour!

oh no. UTI's are the worst.

i'm here! it took me an hour and a half to get into work!! i was an hour late getting in
everytime it snows and i'm at work i just want to go home--im never very productive


& Happy B-day Karin!!

I am on my way to work as we speak! I had a headache and stayed home for a bit and almost called it a day when I saW the snow! But I cannot waste a full sick day this early in the year! But it would have been nice! Plus my boss is away and I needed to get in to change his flights around!

On a side note I live right across the hudson from the city and I cannot see manhattan at all right now due to snow and all the whiteness! Totally eerie!

I am sitting next to my window at home and there is SO much snow out there! In have to take the dog out soon and I really don't want to get all suited up. And I need a few things at the store -- don't think I want to even try to get my car moving! It's in the street, covered. Good thing I don't need anything REALLY important.

And I came to work today. I got in a little late but that was because my butt didn't want to get outta bed this morning. And I also am leaving early. I am working 6 hrs with no lunch and scooting out of here by 2:30 my boss isn't in and its crappy out and it's slow and MY HUBBY is home waiting for me!!!
