So just wondering....TWOTY

Have any of you started or sent in your videos yet?

We're not applying.....

I feel like it would be fun, but our wedding was so recent and we want to bask in the glory of getting our video, pro pics...we don't want to take away from October 3..

BUT I wish all you girls applying good luck!!!

I'm hoping we can get tickets and go anyway.

I am so clueless on TWOTY business I dont even know what the video entails.. I also am not going to do it because I dont want to redo the wedding and bc I am sure DH would tell me to go f myself. To him wedding planning is over so why am I still on LIW?!?! He doesn't understand the whole newlywed board concept.. even after I told him that it keeps me sane and entertained at work.

oh and I still laugh when I say 'twoty' cause cmon.. its funny

So no.. no im not doing a video!

umm ok i never acutally called it 'TWOTY' i would either spell out the letters, or call it the wedding of the year! if i started calling it TWOTY i think my DH will wanna go even more! haha

I don't know... DH really wants to do it....I was going to apply but I honestly do not like the rules this year. I don't want to send in a video to be judged on how fun we are. I don't like that.... I totally understand that they don't want any dead wood but I'm just not OK with this. DH is trying to talk me into it more but I'm still thinking about it.
I liked it better when it was random.

i wish :) DH doesnt want to do it............doesnt like the idea of being on video other than our wedding video and refuses to do the whole wedding thing again. When i asked him he said: I vowed to only get married once, thats it..........but hes been asking about renewal already..............confusing yes lol

Weren't we also going to try to nominate Suzanner for it since we know what happened at her wedding??? Is there a way we can still nominate her? We all know shes fun.

For me its not the work part... its the judging part. Like ohhh you're not fun enough lol!
I'm not fun when I'm forced to be lol. But I'm naturally fun lol

We are not doing it for a bunch of reasons.

One being I think I'd have a hard time convincing DH to do and and two being I had my wedding at CLM and I think to be in TWOTY would take too much away from our day.....It was so special and I dont want anything to take away from that.

Yeah I totally agree. I mentioned it to DH and he didn't like the idea of it either.
