so today

was the first time I used the crock pot!

I hope it comes out good! I am so excited to think that dinner will be ready when I get home!

what did you make? i threw chicken and bbq sauce in mine this morning. so easy!

This is exactly why I haven't used the crockpot...it weirds me out to know that all day something is running that I purposely left on. I don't know I'm just wackso!

I am the same way. . . . I have been thinking about it all day!!!!! We got ours for an engagement gift about 2 years ago and this is the first time using it!!

I used to have the same problem - The first couple of times I used it I would just run in and out - like when I was doing errands. I have yet to have a problem.

I LOVE my crockpot! My only issue is that I always end up wanting to eat at like 4:30 when DH and I get home and have to stop myself!

pulled pork was delish and then just made beef stew last week :D

totally going for a mulled/spiced wine next

LOVE LOVE LOVE MY CROCKPOT!!! The first time I used it I did it on a weekend where I was scared to leave it. Then I did it with running in and out and trying to forget about it. THEN I would run home at 3PM instead of working my overtime to make sure the apt was ok. Now I just let it go and it's amazing! Haven't used it in about 2 weeks but next week I'll be all over it again!

I mixed a few recipes together, this is what I did.

chicken
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
2 and a half cans of water
half of a bouillon cube
a few slices of onion
a bunch of fresh parsley

I used grands Biscuits for the dumplings!!

put everything but the grands in the pot and set it to low - when I got home I cut the biscuits up and put them in the mixture mixed it then let it cook for another 20 or so minutes, YUMMMMM!!!!!!!!
