1 - How do you clean your gas stovetop, in specific, the grates? I have cast iron grates and they are a pain to clean!!! I soak and scrub and srub and they still look stained....plus they are getting white marks from all the scrubbing! I heard alittle amonia may do the trick but I am scared to try.
2 - Do you sanitize your sink after cleaning/handling chicken or other meats and if so what do you use? I usually use 409 but my sister uses bleach spray.
3 - Do you use separate cutting boards for meat and veggies?

Re: Some domesticated questions....
#1- I have an electric stove now but in my co-op I had gas and had the same problem with the grates. I would scrub them with a brillo pad and regular dish soap, and run them through the dishwasher once in a while. Also I cleaned them as I went (mop up spills as soon as I could).
#2- I clean the sink after raw meat has been in it with the sprayer (boiling hot water) and dish soap. I usually try to keep meats out of the sink though
#3- I don't cut meat often because I buy the meat cut the way I like it at the store (chicken tenders, thin sliced cutlets etc) but if I do I put the cutting board (I use a plastic one) in the dishwasher right away. I don't use separate boards because I can't be bothered lol Most of what I cut is veggies and garlic.

Re: Some domesticated questions....
I have a ceramic stove top so i can't help you with #1
I use Lysol Kitchen cleaner (Antibacterial) and I clean my counters and sink about 100 times a day
I have designated cutting boards for chicken, beef, veggies, pork and fish...yes a just a tad neurotic
