girls how do we think our DH's are going to handle the birth?

i think mine will be fine.....he watched me get stitches twice - like right behind the doctor and he cleaned them for me and stuff - he also takes care of the dog when gory stuff happens to her.....he doesn't get grossed out at all by blood or things like that.....

i actually think he'll be really emotional and will probably cry a lot like he did at the wedding

i have a feeling he will be really cool - DH's BIL was all up in there with the doctor when his sister had the baby and said it was awesome....and DH is like that so i think he'll be the same way....

DH loves to learn stuff so I know he will be more interested in learnign about the process and what is happening and asking questions. he will probably forget that im there so he will totally enjoy it as im suffering!

that is how my DH was when i got stitches - both times he might as well been doing them himself b/c he was all up on the doctor

dh and i that is it. To me this is a private thing the most sacred thing! I do not need an audience. Dh doesn't even want to be involved he said he wishes it was like the old days when women did these things alone but i told him if he wants me to pump out a kid for him he is standing next to me.

i hear ya!!! If I've gotta push that thing outta my body, he's gonna be there to get me thru it!!!

DH was the only one, besides my doctor and 2 nurses. It was PERFECT! He watched the entire birth of his son, and he still tells everybody how amazing it was, and tells me what an amazing job I did. He brags that I only pushed like 4 times lol. He also is by FAR from being traumatized, believe me the guy is counting down till thursday when I go for my 6 week check up to make sure its ok for sex again lol.

We also had everyone come in right after I got stitched up, I was still in L&D, and still in a gown looking gross, and believe me theres tons of pictures, but I don't care, its to beautiful of a moment to not want to share it with your loved ones. I just feel bad that they were in the waiting room from 3pm till 8:30 pm lol

I am 2 months from my due date... and this is how i HOPE to feel after delivery... DH keeps saying he doesnt want to watch delivery.. but I am 100% sure that when the time comes, he will be down there, totally amazed at what is going on.. and I only really want him in the room.. with my mom on call...because throughout this whole process, i have gotten so close to my mom... I just dont want to venture into an issue with ILs... but having them in the room might make me go CRAZY!!!
