In 2007, the 'artist' Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, tied him to a rope in an art gallery, and starved him to death. For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition have watched emotionless the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, until eventually he died.

not to be mean but milana, you should post a disclaimer that there are disturbing pictures in this thread! had i known there were these pictures, i would NOT have opened it... i feel like those pictures are going to haunt me

How is this legal???? i just genuinely got choked up & teary eyed for this poor animal.... that poor innocent dog...he must have been thinking 'why are all these people staring at me & just not caring???'
i can't even talk about this...i'm leaving this thread...

this definitely upsets me. i signed the petition.
however, i wanted to say that so far there have been conflicting reports as to whether this story is 100% true or not.
supposedly the govt claims that he didn't starve the dog --- and that this has become an internet sensation. they claim that he did let the dog go and back on to the streets. but its something that is undetermined.
either way--i still signed the petition, just in case!
