spin off to baby dust- do you plan to breast feed?

if so, how long?

i plan to!
although right now, being that i am not pregnant, i think i would feel weird with my baby to my boob so i think i'd want to use a pump

however, im sure once i have a baby, the weirdness will fade and i wont care about a baby suckling on my boob...

definitely planning on it.

not sure for how long i'll be doing it, but breast milk is incredibly important for an infant and I'm going to do whatever I can for my baby.

There's also the bonding that occurs between mother and child during that period- that's important to me as well.

When the time comes, I'm going to give it a whirl.

Everything you ever thought will change once you have a baby!!!!! The pumpalways felt foreign to me. I LOVED BF, it was great,no bottles,no waiting to make it or heat it, it was always ready!

I did with DD (obviously!) for 8 months, I wanted to do a year, but with my job it is hard to pump. I plan to do it with each child.

I nursed my son for 9 months and it was tough but I wouldn't have done it any other way. My son is soo healthy!!

Plus, it burns a TON of calories!!

forgot to mention that i'll prob. do it at least 6 months and then i'll take it from there...
however, if the baby can walk into a room and ask for milk, i think it's time to switch

Haven't given this one that much thought yet but I imagine I'll at least try it. I know it's not easy for some people though...

I would brest feed but I'd cut the kidd off when its toddling around. I knew a woman whsoe kid was TWO and she was still breast feeding...That was a little awkward when she'd just lift the flap because he ran in and yelled 'MOMMY FOOD!!!!!'

Kinda funny since she was the food....

OMG That sooo reminds me of a story! This wa YEARS ago-my cousin who was one of my BM (and would KILL me for repeating this ) was like 4years old or maybe 5 at the time. So we're in th living room and she looked at my aunt and asked about beeast feeding and what she used to eat as a baby. My aunt explained she drank milk from her Mommy to get big and strong.

My cousin considered this with great thought and nodded, then said, 'But what if I wanted soda? I really like Pepsi.'

As of now my thought is no, only b/c the thought is just weird to me, but that could all change once its time to actually do it

I didn't with my first son, and tried it for 2 weeks with my second son. I hated it. He was soo needy, and if we were out, I wasn't poppin out my goodies in public.Formula did both of my children just fine I think theres toooooo much hype about breast feeding. Unless you wanna wake up every 2 hours, and not have a problem with it, AND be sleep deprived....MORE POWER TO YA .
