i cant say that my DH does not help me.. he does all the outside chores...
mows lawn, even gardens! takes care of pool.
as for inside the house.. he has his days where he would help out.. has a tendency to leave his mail all spread out on the table (pet peeve )
he wont clean the bathroom though.. that will always be my chore

My DH is a big help! He cooks, most of the time, does dishes, helps with the laundry and on the weekends when we clean the house, he does the bedroom and polishes the hardwood floor!
He is great! I am so grateful!!
My only pet peeve is the mail! He leaves it on the dining room table, as well as hanging his coat on the back of the dining room chairs! LOL

DH is a huge help w. any of the more physical stuff...since I have muscle weakness. I'll do things like straightening up and all of the laundry which I dont mind at all, and he takes care of the kitchen, loves to cook!, dishes, taking trash out, and heavy lifting. Somehow we make it work. But the real down and dirty cleaning...uhh, we probably dont do that enough. Dusting and whatnot. I know.

I have the same prob with the dining room table ... SOOO ANNOYING!! its always his cell phone, mail, blackberry, receipts, wallets, and papers from work I get rid of it, and 10 min later its back - WITH a fight that I move his stuff!!!!!
DH helps me..he does all the laundry, I fold and put away. Lately he's been doing the dishes while I dry them and put them away, and clean the kitchen!

DH is simply fantastic with chores. I chalk it to being brought up in hectic/disorganized household. Also, he moved out of his house later in life so he really takes pride in his living situation.
bbbb He prefers I cook since he dosen't know how to wing anything but eggs. Only thing he is bad about is washing the dishes post meal. I like to do the dishes as soon as the last piece of food is chewed.

i wish mine did. he always offers but he cleans like a guy, like the dishes aren't really clean, or he'll just stuff everything into one drawer... it's much easier that i do it. but he does cook most of the time so i guess in the end it's ok.

He does help. There are somethings, like picking up DD's toys & taking out the garbage that he does on his own, but the dishes & putting away laundry, I usually have to ask him to do first. I don't think he has ever sweeped, mopped or vaccumed.

it took some time but we have it all worked out.... dh does the laundry....i know dont ask how it happened! i guess i just got lucky! im on dish duty and i do the bathroom. he was home sick for 4 days this week and my kitchen is spotless!! he says he doesnt do things when he is 'told' i call it 'ask' what ever!

my dh doesn't help with anything! he expects me to clean everything with no help. he ***** at life. our apartment was always a mess because i worked too much to clean and he didn't want to clean on his days off

i do have to say that DH helps out which makes me very happy honestly, if u'd asked me when i was dating - i'd say i was in for it! but he did a big turnaround after we tied the knot...so hopefully it stays that way lol. but he does...he'll vaccuum & empty/load the dishwasher without being asked - does laundry too...and on my big cleaning days he always asks if i need help can't complain!
