Spinoff chores... does DH help you??

i cant say that my DH does not help me..
he does all the outside chores...

mows lawn, even gardens!
takes care of pool.

as for inside the house..
he has his days where he would help out..
has a tendency to leave his mail all spread out on the table (pet peeve )

he wont clean the bathroom though.. that will always be my chore

DH always offers to help but he tends to put things off so I usually end up just doing it. But he does most of the cooking so I can't really complain.

Deanna, I hear ya about paperwork all over the table; every time I clear off the table, the next day there's a ton of crap on it again. Drives me crazy!!

wow.. so DH is not the only one!!

I really thought DH and I would have a problem with this, but I can happily say that so far DH has been really great.

He's MUCH more neater than me in general, but he always does the dishes when I cook, and he cleans the kitchen. He does laundry too and will tidy up the living room, etc. I do bathrooms, floors, etc etc etc. so I feel like I'm NEVER done, but he does help out.

UH huh..told ya..OCD (but I love my little neurotic hubster anyway ) so he HAS to clean. Its like his drug. I drive him up a wall because I dont share his passion, but I'll be considered the cooler parent lmao. I'm more interested in how my kids do in school than if they washed their hands or picked up their socks.

We definitely share the workload and there's never any issue. He does most of the cooking so I do most of the dishes, and when it comes to cleaning we both straighten up when we have time and about once a week we spend a few hours cleaning the whole house. He does a lot of the laundry.

We're both about the same level of messiness so that helps too -- you guys would hate me because I'm always the one leaving my mail everywhere!!

Deanna you have a pool? I'm so jealous! We have a townhouse so the pool would be the entire yard and then some - I'd have to jump into it from my kitchen window

I think my DH is OCD with cleaning. He can't go to bed if a room is messy or if dishes are in the sink, I on the other hand am not bothered by this at all. He loves to clean!!!

yea we have a pool... its really a lot of maintenance, but at least he deals with that!!
we were lucky when we found our house that it had a pool..! come on over and take a dip!!

Truth be told...DH is amazing!
He does all the cooking...I do limited cleaning!

DH will sometimes do it by himself without me asking rarely but he does. When I do it he will help but mostly gets in my way

We have a pool too. Thank God DH takes care of it. Vacuuming is a 3 hour process and my arms hurt he can do it a lot faster than I can.

it must be a guy thing to leave mail all over the table - my DH does the same!

He is pretty messy with clothes and shoes - just leaves them everywhere!

but he does offer to help me and if i ask him to help, usually with some nagging involved he does some stuff liek vacuum, make the bed

he usually does the dishes too if I cook and he ofers to cook dinner alot too

DH does everything. He's every meticulous about keeping the house clean for himself.

I do the laundry and wash the floors, but he mainly does all the cleaning and vacuuming.
