When I am on the pill (which I am not right now), I still get scares of being pregnant but so many people say it isnt possible. Plus i would forget to take my pill sometimes so that was annoying.
Do you know anyone who got pregnant while on the pill?

My sster with my nephew who is almost 4.
Tip dont have unprotected sex bf you start the next cycle of pills after you get your period. Just bc your period just eneded doesnt mean another egg cant drop.
Thats how my nephew got here!
With my neice my sister was prego and taking teh pill for three months while prego and was getting a lite bleeding each month which she thought was her period. Well it wasnt she was prego again on the pill again and bleed for the first 4 months. CRAZY!

Yes... but she was also on an antibiotic, so that could've been the cause for the faulty pill.

my sisters best friend got pregnant while on the pill. Her daughter will be 1 the end of this month.

also the doc told me that with low dose birth control you have to be even more careful about your timing AND if you are overweight you have to be even more careful with low dose pills - he said he doesn't like to prescribe low dose to overweight b/c they could be less effective especially if taken a few hours late/skipped pill

the pill is 98% effective when taken correctly so there always is that 2% chance that it won't work. However, everyone I've heard of that got pregnant on the pill did so because they screwed their pills up

I know one girl who went off the pill for a week and got pregnant during that time. She wasnt very responsible and I think there was more to the story.
Anyway I cannot believe some people were a few hours late taking their pill and got preggers...yikes! I never remembered to take mine and well that is why I went off. I also was on the nuva ring but had to go off that too.

I have a friend who DID NOT want kids ever and if she and her DH had one years from now. She says she took her pill religiously. Her son is beautiful and was born in Dec...so yes I do
