Spinoff on Boss present thread

Who gives their boss a present?

I have two managers and I've never given them a present. I've given coworkers a present if I'm close to them but never my boss. I don't think people do that in our office. The two managers manage everyone and we have like 100 people. That would be a lot of presents.

One of them did come to my wedding. Should I give him a present?

I say something small in your case. I work at a law firm, and I do everything for my boss,and his the best boss anyone can ever have, so I always gift him!

i never give a gift to my boss ... like you, i don't think people do that in my company.

i always give my boss a gift, not because i want to but because i guess i have to?

i went to Costco and bought a huge cookie gift mountain all packed into box, and they were stacked into boxes. the boxes were all piled one on top of the other so the larges box was on the bottom and the smallest was on top, like 5 boxes in all. $20

i have three bosses - they all get a $10-15 gift from me

all the attorneys donate $20 each to get gifts for the support staff (like 4 people)

then we have a secret santa where you get to buy another gift for someone in the office - $20-25

this! Don't start now! I wish I never did. I don't exchange with anyone else in my office but with my boss. It's about 4 people here and my boss and I are the only ones who exchange. My foreman gets me something sometimes but usually something small for my help throughout the year (and the fact that I'm the only one who doesn't get a bonus in the company and he feels bad for me).
