Here's my Maggie on the model:
Your dress was seriously a dress that I loved - I had to think about it for a few days if I was getting the maggie or the cassa. You look amazing in it.

Fun thread!!!
here is my grandma in the dress, and me in the dress. I don't know if anyone originally modeled it in the 40's. The woman who updated it for me said she thinks it was hand sewn and because my grandma had gotten it in a tiny botique- it is possible it was even one of a kind back then!
And- I meant to have my photogropher take a photo of me standing alone recreating this one of my grandma, and with the hecticness of not having access to where we planned to do photos, I completly forgot. So I dont really have a bridal portrait.

btw- most of these models look like p*ssed of brides and just not happy. LOL! Ive never understood that since brides are supposed to look happy. So you all look better than they do!!

Thanks!! She had it saved and my sister and I used to dress up in it when we were kids. When she passed away my grandpa asked what I wanted of hers and I said her dress. She kept it rolled up in a pillow case and it never discolored. And it fit me- so I didn't have to have it taken in opr out.
