spinoff to fml: What has been your DH's excuse to not do thank you cards?

Mine's are:

my spanish is better than his ( im whitey whiterson and he's pure dominican)

my handwriting is better than his (his is painstakingly perfect)

he has school work to do (aka football is on)

I don't even bother to ask him to help.

I did all of our engagement party thank yous, all my shower thank yous, all the thank yous from stuff given to us the day we actually got married and now I will probably do almost all of the ones from the reception.

I AM going to have him do the ones to his immediate family members because I can't BS any more with them.

I will do 95 out of 100.

my DH actually offered to help ... but he didn't know where the list was of all the gifts people had given was, and he didn't know what to write, and he didn't know where the file with peoples' addresses was ... so he was pretty much useless

but at least he offered

HAHA! DH would NEVER! He was supposed to write his parents thank you for the engagement party and for the RD and I ended up doing both!

i didnt even ask him to help. i just sat down and did them, he prolly would of made me mad if he tryed.

im still waiting on one address from him to send the last one out, yeahi asked him 2 weeks ago!

I didnt ask him because if he did write them out noone sould read them. He has the worst handwriting

I did over 100. I can't complain, I knew it'd be like that. I just want him to write 7. His 4 gm and his 2 brothers and mom. He doesn't know what to write! Hahahah neither did I. I'm giving him a few more days because its too late and I sent all mine out already (most of them in nov). Boys!

nope. we agreed to split it up. i did all my side, and a few of his (his sis, mom, bro's gf) b/c they were in bridal party too

but now its his turn

i wanted to do it at the 6th month mark, so i pushed myself to then. he said he didnt care then. so we agreed that it would happen before the end of theeyar....and before christmas!

so finally last night he started. and whined like a baby

i had to remind him that i also had to do shower cards...he didnt reallly care tho. he still complained. and only did like 5.

handwriting. it really is bad, but still that's pretty lame.

so i wrote them, but made him sit with me and help with the messages.

I'm not even going to bother to ask. He won't make excuses, but I know that he will continue to forget.
