Don't feel so bad. We don't get bonuses and our 'holiday' party is in January/February. I work for a book distributor and they are really busy and don't want to close for one night.

The Grinch who stole MY BONUS

Been here for 13 years and never got a bonus, yet in the past couple of years we have to hear boasting about how the company has had its record year for profits.
How about sharing the wealth ?

That does suck! I do get a Christmas bonus, but I work part-time & my hours are usually cut during the week between Christmas & New Years so my bonus ends of making up for what I'm not getting paid while I have off that week.

I work for the State. We don't get a bonus and we have to pay to attend our own holiday party.

I'm sorry...

If it is any consolation, I work for Legal Aid where the holidays cost me more than the crappiest bonus (which the state does not feel we should get) and where HQ doesn't get us anything but grief...we aren't even allowed to get free comp days for working the holidays and we have to have accountability that whole week (even though there is only one judge)..scrooges!
