yeah i NEVER want to call anyone. i have to call my DJ company to get my photo's on CD that they took and I haven't called yet it's been a week i don't know what's wrong with me.
i would rather talk to the person face to face then call them weird i know.

i am so scared of getting into a bad car accident.
i am dealthy scared of dying. for some reason i think about it at least once a day
I have the dying one too! Although they say if someone has anxiety they usually have anxiety about dying.
this is my biggest one too! if my DH takes a little longer than normal parking the car or going to the bank, i think a million terrible things. i'm really trying to get over it though because i'm scared i'll make our kids nuts someday. both my dad and my uncle died very very unexpectedly so now i fear it like crazy. before they died, i was so much more laid back and zen

I feel the same way. I found out my dad died unexpectedly when my brother called me. Now I get nervous whenever the phone rings and I always think my close family will die

I'll start! I hate being alone at night. I start to convince myself of all sorts of crazy things (people breaking in, bugs, mice, ghosts etc.) It's so crazy what my mind is capable of. There's a lot of other things but I don't want you girls to think I'm a complete mental case
I agree, I think of the craziest things and get myself all nervous

Yes, add that one too! Um, I guess I won't watch that movie then. I don't need to think about that any more than I aldready do.
From the beginning it was sad, I was so angry that I watched the whole thing. It was a really depressing movie

OMG me too I dont want to sound like an idiot or not be prepared to answer a question right so I hate calling. I also cant call in front of people, it makes me too nervous.
Lets also add to the anxiety list, fear of something happening to DH, my dog or someone close to me.

OMG I watched that movie while DH was in Iraq probably not the best thing to watch I was balling. I was so fearful that he was going to leave me here alone. It was bad. I think I was more worried about that during his time in Iraq than anything else. It was a little crazy.
I also think like 'what comes after death'?? no one knows and I don't want to experience it anytime soon but that's what gets to me. That once I die I am gone forever.
I give you so much credit. If DH was in iraq I think I'd have to be committed.

omg! this is exactly me too! the day my dad died, i actually remember walking down the street that morning, before i got 'the call', and i was thinking what a great day it was and how it was going to be a great year (it was in feb). then, a few hours later my whole life changed. i think that's what freaks me out so much. so now, anytime i think good, positive things, there's a little thing in the back of my head waiting for the bad to come. it's horrible. and i'm the same exact way about the phone. if my mom calls and then my brother calls and i see both missed calls, i immediately think something is wrong.

Re: Spinoff: What anxieties do you have
im weird with heights. Im fine on a roller coaster and in buildings. But I HATE climbing ladders and I soetimes do not like being on the ski lifts- I always raise the bar at the very last moment. I do not like tight/small spaces at all. I was once on a plane with low ceilings and I basically ahd a panic attack and thought I couldnt breath.

Re: Spinoff: What anxieties do you have
Okay well my number one anxiety has to do with driving. I can't drive on highways or really to any place that I have never driven before. It is so horrible and really limits my life! I always say I am going to do something about it but I never do. I can paralel park now BUT by the time I am done I am sweating profusely bc I feel like everyone is watching me.
I HAVE to be able to get home from somewhere. THat is why I hate going places without DH. I know that if I ask him to take me home he will immediately. I would feel psycho asking anyone else so I immediately feel trapped ( even if there is no reason for me to leave! ) I have gotten to the point where I just have to make an exit plan like figure out a way to take a train home or ask a friend who knows my issues to take me home if i need it ( and I never have had to actually ask! )
I always have to sit on the outside of a table, so I dont have to pass people when I get up. I hate at church when people make me move over and give up my aisle seat - I sweat through the rest of the mass! .

I know exactly what you mean. I hate talking on the phone and hate making phone calls even more than that.
It's funny I am much better about it now at work than I was. My previous job really helped I think-I was constantly making phone calls for customers so it helped me 'practice' lol. I swear that's the only reason I was actually able to get my wedding planned. At my job now, I'm much better about making phone calls. I still prefer to e-mail if it's possible. I always wait to make the calls until I have gone over exactly what I'm going to say when someone picks up. I'm the worst though if someone catches me off guard.

Re: Spinoff: What anxieties do you have
Airplanes. I've posted on this subject before. My fear of flying has even prevented me from going somewhere tropical and sunny for my Honeymoon. I've flown beforeand when I get on the plane I'm usually fine. But, when I buy my plane ticket, it's virtually all I can think about. It consumes my thoughts. 'What if the plane crashes?', etc. For me it's a matter of control. If I can't fly the plane, I don't want to be on it.
Also, I'm afraid of death. The idea of growing old and dying scares the cr@p out of me. I don't like the idea that I won't be here anymore one day.
