spinoff: what was your favorite gift?

Original post by Nina_m74

Spinoff form the generosity poll, do you have a favorite or least favorite gift.

My favorite was my SIL playing violin for the wedding, she is really shy and gets nervous playing in front of people but still played for our ceremony ...and played beautifully!

She rocks

i have a few:

So many of our family members from Ireland came...they meant more than anything

Also, my aunt from Ireland made me a GORGEOUS quilt using the Irish wedding pattern in it.... and my cousin sent a Belleek (a type of Irish china) horseshoe to be given to me on the day by flowergirl... it's supposed to be 'good luck' to receive a horsehoe from a child on your wedding day.

Also, all my kick-*** friends that played all the music at my Mass, my friend who played the bagpipes for us and surprised at the after-party with MORE bagpipers. and DH's cousins who prepared a whole surprise Irish dance routine at the reception...

Oh, and my cousin made my cape and shawls for the girls... i got married in feb. and we really needed.

OK...that was totally more than one thing!!!
