Who handles the Finances???

I handle all the bills!! if I didn't, they'd NEVER be paid!!!

Ditto, DH was terrible w/ his bills when we met. I actually enjoy doing them, the control freak in me I guess.

if i let my DH near the bank account and bills---we'd be on the side of the road po' and begging for money

i handle the money---and he knows thats how it will always be.

i pay most of the bills, theres a few that come directly out of his bank account, and theres really only 1 he pays online, and I have to remind him a million times

I pay the majority of the bills each month. There are two bills that are his responsibility, but I have to say he is very diligent.

Now that we're buying the house I'll be lucky enough to inherit even MORE bills to remember to pay each month...yayyyy

DH is an accountant, so he does everything. I do not pay a single bill! I am very happy that way!

We have a bunch of stuff on auto-pay. The ones that can't be auto-paid (like rent), the hubby takes care of ....

I pay MY department store credit cards, and he pays most of the bills, and his exsisting credit card debts. I just don't work that many hours to be able to help as much as I want to. Lets just say, things are kinda tough right now.

I DO!! Hes def. not going with handling bills. If it were up to him we would be late on every bill lol. We both work...and I pay.

well, I've got 11 years on DH... so I've had to teach him a lot about household maintenance and organization.... bill paying (especially getting utilities hooked-up) was part of that.

we both pay bills. I pay for monthly shopping (food, cleaners...), personal expenses, electric, phone, rent.... DH pays my car loan and cable.

My theory is it's definitely good for both to know all the bills and be organized enough to pay them... just in case one is hospitalized or out of town...

DH pays the bills. all our money goes into one checking acct- after he accounts for all our bills and we put some $$ away for savings, we each have our own spending money.
