I went on a cruise a few years ago that stopped at st. thomas and I LOVED it. I was only there for the day so I can't really give a full review but it was beautiful.
St thomas! Never been but heard its amazing.
One of my best friends went to St. Thomas a few years ago and she raves about it. Another friend is going there for her HM in July. I would go there over Key West.

St Thomas I would not recc Key West. Pretty spots but for the most part . No
we went to st thomas. Honestly its beautiful, but if you are looking to do some stuff other than the beach, there really isnt much to do there. (you can go over to St john, but that really is just one day thing) We did 3 days in St. thomas than 6 days in Puerto Rico and im glad we did, we dound 3 days in st thomas was enough. that was actually one of our fav trips, we liked doing both. But that is just our opinion. only been to key west when i was a kid I really dont remember it.

ive been to both in the last couple years. st thomas is beautiful, and if you are looking for more of a beachy/relaxing vac go here. The Keys is if you want to party and drink at night, eat and lay poolside. There really is no great swimmable beach in the keys, as its surrounded by a coral reef. alot of the beaches are manmade. But the Keys are great, you can rent scooters or bikes, go into town for breakfast lunch, dinner, some drinks, so a little shopping. i guess it just depends on what kind of vac you are looking for.
We did a cruise stop in St. Thomas and really liked it-----but I don't know how much there is to do there at night. St. Maarten actually seemed much more lively. Maybe u can check that out! The Keys seem to be more of a 'let's get wasted' kind of place.
