stinky Duet proofs

We just got our duet proofs and really dont like most of them.. some are ok, but we think our guests got better shots than they did..

we're REALLY disappointed.. they didnt take some of the shots we specifically asked for or screwed them up (like of the hand with the rings, which they took of US, not of the rings.. and they didnt get the shot from the end of the aisle in back of the room (fish eye) when we were up front during the ceremony.. they didnt get a good one of our place card table, which were decorated tins with customized M&Ms.. they didnt get the M&Ms.. i belive we specifically asked for most of these on the preliminary sheet and then again in person)..

We had a few 'thank you' sign shots but we dont like any of them so now we can't use those for the cards..

this freaking blows.. im not sure what to do.. i may need to call Eric and see if they have other photos they didnt give us in the proofs box.. right now we'll have a hard time picking photos for an album

I am really sorry, Jay as I expressed in an FM- I continued to have problems including the print quality of my album which was horrid. I have to say though they fix everything I complain about that they can- they are now printing me a new album free of charge. So I would continue to complain to Eric.

Something very strange just happened.. i called Duet to ask about the size for the t/u cards since i figure the best way to get what I want in terms of the layout and design is to do it myself in photoshop... so i spoke to Phil (who was pleasant) and requested a 'Read Only CD' of all the photos.. i mentioned that there were some photos we didnt see printed and that we would probably want for the album so we'd like to see all of them..

he looked up my account and told me it'd be $30.. he ordered it today so it will be ready at the end of the week..

I'm not sure what the problem was with Eric, but at least we'll get to see all of our photos before selecting for the album

Wish I knew this existed BEFORE I did my album!

ETA: I emailed Sue for a copy of this CD.

wow- I am so sorry you still are not happy with your proofs...or with the CD...

Hopefully, once you keep looking through you will find ones you really like!

And I am sad & sorry to hear that you did not like you Duet pictures. I am a little scared since I have Duet taken my pictures. But, Eric seems so nice & easy to work with you sound voice your opinion on how you feel.

I got my proofs and it seems most of my worrying was for nothing. I still am upset that I didn't have many pictures of me alone (dressed) but I think we have enough family shots. My contract says a minimum of 600 and it seems we got like 660 proofs. It seems they picked the best of the butch when they took more than one picture of something.

My question for past Duet brides is.. when you get the CD at the end..do you get ALL the printed proofs on there?

no I was told they would be the ones they printed, which I why I paid the extra money for the CD with ALL proofs
