stressing out about DH's surgery

so dh gos on feb 5th for his surgery he is having DH the RPLND (retroperitoneal lymph node dissection) ive been reading about it online and remembering what the doctor said about it and im getting really scared, DH has not been himself the past few days. he is not taking this well at all. its just a big surgery and he is really scared. ive been a mess myself and cant wait for him to be ok and have this over with. his birthday is sat and ive planned a big party at our house to keep it off his mind at least for one night. i just pray things go ok and everything gos back to normal. he will be in the hospital for 4-5days so ill be there A LOT!!! dh is looking forward to TTC after his surgery although we will mostly have to do invitro but he and i are so excited to get that started since we didnt have any luck this month. just keep him in your thoughts that day that everything gos ok.

As my ILs always say 'Keep the Faith'. My mother was always told she was sterile after her cancer surgery and she had 4 miracle children. You will be fine! You are too great of a person NOT to be given a chance to have babies and be a great mom too!

We are all praying for you. I can only imagine how difficult things are for you two now. Just know that you two need to lean on each other for strength. When he needs to cry, let him cry. When you need to cry- I'm sure he'll allow you.

Dont try to bear it all alone. We're here for you to vent/cry/scream to. We'll help you carry this burden of unfair sh!t!!

Stop reading about it online! It will make you so much more nervous. Try to keep your mind on other things as best you can & stay stron! I hope the surgery goes well You are both in my prayers!

Stay strong and focused on the positive, Tara. Before you know it, this will be behind you and James and he'll be back to making jokes. Then you can focus on making a beautiful baby. The two of you have such a strong love. You'll get through it. We're always here for you.

Tara I wil definetley keep both you and James in my prayers. Try not to go online and do alot of reading on the procedure, it will make you crazy. Thing always have a way of working out and I truly believe that you both will get thru this and after all this pain and worrying you will get pregnant and be great parents.
