Superlatives are tough

Does anyone feel like they have the same 10 people down a million times?

I am trying so hard to vary people but the same people keep posting all the pics and they are generally the most active posters which means the easiest to place in the other categories.

Come on girls, post pics. I need to get more variation on this list.

OK, I think you are right, I will post to all the categories now

i will be adding some bpix and day after pix soon!!!

I just go my disc from the photographer so I'll be posting soon. I was too lazy to scan in the hard proofs.

I was thinking....

Since there are so many categories now, I think it's going to be veritably impossible to have a unique winner for each category. Even if I bump down to the girl with second most votes, the odds of her already winning a category on her own are very high.

Since there are two types of superlatives, personality/physical and wedding related, I was thinking that we break the 'each girl can only win one category' rule, and change it to 'each girl can only win one category within each type'.

Do we agree or disagree?

like someone can win best eyes and best wedding cake but they can't win best cake and best dress? That would make sense!

Yeah, exactly. I'm not opposed to this if the general consensus is ok with it too.

ETA: and it would certainly make my own life easier to tabulate!

Yeah I totally AGREE!!!!! Its so hard b/c if someone isn't posting----I don't really remember what their cake looked like, ya know? I have to say I'm about a quarter of the way done and its pretty much the same people over and over.

Ugh, I totally agree. It has been tough to pick unique winners. That is why I am holding on to mine for now, since we have a while until we need to send them in. I am hoping people will start posting pictures.

I am still going to try to spread out my votes as much as I can!!

Plus people can vote for brides who didn't post pix!!!

i think for the pictures posts we have been posting, the votes should be done again, cause ppl add to it. we should make a deadline for all pics to be uploaded by Feb 1st, then voting officially starts like feb 2nd, ya know?

I agree too - there should really be a deadline to add your pictures and then an official voting start-by date. The Feb dates sound good to me too!

I have 4 girls votes so far...I am not going to ask them to redo their votes. If they want to themselves, they can. But I don't think they should be 'punished' for being early, and I doubt their votes would change much, if at all.

So for everyone else, if you want to do a deadline for the photos of 2/1, that's fine. I'll make another post.

I personally have mine saved and I don't mind waiting and reevaluating them at all in a month.
