sushi eaters?

I am just curious, if you eat sushi, where your favorite restaurant is.

I liked sushi, but was never a huge fan b/c I never found any places that made really good sushi. UNTIL, I found AJI53 in Bayshore.
Has anyone else been there???

There is also a really great place in the Atlas Mall in Glendale, Queens called 'Shiro'.

Also Yumi Yumi (SP?) in Long Beach on Park Avenue, has all you acn eat sushi!! So goooddd.

When I got back from the HM I Was craving it like a FIEND. I ordered like 6 rolls just for myself lol I got home and DH was like 'Damn Sara...calm down' lol :(

anyone else?

I love love Sushi, and it is very hard not being able to eat it while pregnant!!! I love a place in where we live, Long Beach, it's called Nagaya ... they have a Central Park role that I could eat every day, with their special sauce!!

My favorite place on LI is Kotobuki - A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

I used to love Shiki in Baylon until I discovered Kotobuki. So good.

AJI53 in Bayshore is AWESOME!! DH & I used to go there..but now that we're in LIC..it's kinda far.

Shiro is yummy too.

I also like Mr. Wasabe on Bella Blvd. There Wasabe Cheese Roll is to die for!

We had sushi on the HM! I was so excited that RIU had a japanese restaurant.

Umm, now I'm craving sushi...maybe i can get DH to me to Bayside Tomorrow...

ahhh...aji53 is amazing, ever have the aji king??? that is my favorite roll!!!!

I need to check out some of these other places you guys are talking about.

The place by me in Glendale/ridgewood is called Sakura or sakuro right on Cypress Hills AVe and Myrtle Ave, it was pretty good.

If you are ever in the city -
Yama has the best sushi ever - better than Nobu - there are 2 locations, one on Irving Place, and one on Houston.

In Park Slope, Jpan on 5th avenue has the most original rolls and really fresh sushi.

My sister love Sumou in Bay Shore on Main Street.

We went there a couple of weeks ago and are going back next week. They are very friendly, and the food is wonderful.

the one in babylon is on deer park avenue. it is on the left if you are going north on deer park avenue from montauk highway. dh and i went for my birthday. it was hard to find. we walked past it three times.

The one I go to is in Happague - but I also know there is one in Babylon and I heard they were opening one in Glen Cove area

Kotobuki in Babylon is yummy but I LOVE Tai Show in either massapequa or oakdale locations.

I like that place but it is not my favorite. I have some here that you will have to try Jenna. Just to mention a few ON LI - The city is a whole nother animal

where can I get sushi in queens for like a bday party and for how much? I am having 40 ppl...how much should I order and how much will it cost me? I'm sorry I have never tried sushi, but my DH loves it.
