Tat Question-- Would you

Original post by RadiantBride

Would you tattoo your DH's name on you? Have you done it (post pics if you have) .

Why or why not?

well i have it lol so that answers the question. And no i dont feel like cattle and that im branded his to me its no biggie, i can always cover it up if worse comes to worse. Its above another tattoo of mine and the other tattoo is pretty big, if anything i would just continue with the design i have on the other tattoo and extend it up.

But other than that, i felt the vows i gave in church were a bigger deal than the tattoo and my commitment to him was a bigger deal than the tattoo. I know its not for everybody and don't expect ppl to all agree with it, if its not for you its not for you.

I have a heart on my shoulder ....it is awful...I got it when I was 17 and the guy put these dots above it...so it looks like it says something And everyone THINKS its for DH or some ex bf or something It totally isnt I got it bc I love hearts...I HATE THE TATT bc it is so awfully done...I was gonna have it fixed but I was like eh...I could but I just kept it..although the tatt is ugly I got it with a friend who passed away shortly after so it holds signifigance to me so I dont think I could bring myself to change or remove it

Nice tattoo, Denise!

The last angel in the first group of pics you posted, her actually reminds me of you a little.

sometimes i regret that i didnt end up getting it lol. Theres always still time though so maybe in the near future

i feel like that too about my lower back tattoo - i have a tribal butterfly but sometimes i wish i would have gotten a dragon like i really wanted a fiery dragon is so much more my personality than a butterfly

Ooh, I didn't realize I missed a word. I meant to say her face reminds me of yours.

Yeah, can always add to it.

Where do you have yours? Some places are much more painful than others.

DH read somewhere that listed the top most painful places to get a tattoo. I just remember the foot, lower back, top of shoulder and ribs. Is yours detailed?

I wouln't I personally don't like it, I did suggest a matching tattoo but DH said NO. He doesn't want me to ink my body..oh well...but I am considering one of these, somewhere no one can see unless I decide to show it.
