My license expires in November. If this is all true about the name change, would I need to renew in my maiden name and then after the 1st of the year changed to my married name.

I hate all this confusion.



I changed my name no biggie. I think you can change your name while you renew but remember you have to go in.

I changed my name on my DL the day after I was married!

We got married in December 2003 and were able to file together after being married for less than 1 month!
