to get your thank you's out...

I'm having trouble with my photographer and I am way past where I would like to have been when I sent them out...

I plan to write apologies in the cards, but still...

How long is too long?!

People have a year to send a gift, but you are supposed to write the thank you immediately. The standard for people that send pictures tends to be 3 months.

That's the rule I'm going by. I think I might have 1/3 done

etiquette or no etiquette, I never get thank you notes before 5 or 6 months.....I just got one last month for a wedding I went to in September 2003!

mine were out within 3 months, with a picture, and a few people still gave me snide comments about it taking so long - whatever, you can't please everyone!
