Ten year HS reunion...

I know a lot of you aren't there yet -- but if you have been out of school long enough -- did you go to your 10 year reunion?

Did you even have one?

If yes, what was it like?

Mine was two years ago, but I couldn't make it because my boss' wedding was that night. Our's wasn't anything formal...just a bunch of people from our graduating class getting together at the Mars Bar downtown. I guess I would've gone if I didn't have the wedding to go to...because if it s ucked, it's not like there aren't a bunch of other places I could've gone to in the area..

Probably, but I wouldn't stay the whole time. I went to DH's and it was Laaaaaaaaaaame, so I expect the same for mine (same school).

Becca, what did they do for Stephen's?

Was it just at bar or did they have it at a hall?

Mine was 2 years ago at verdi's. I didn't go because I wasn't in town that week, but even if I was I am not sure iw ould have gone. I hated 80% of those people then...and chances are..they're probably still the d0uchebags they were in 99

Same thing for me. It's my 10 year but I haven't heard anything yet and I don't think I would go.

i went. it was in our school auditorium/gym. only graduates invited, no sig.others

thankfully there was wine!!!! honestly...the ppl who i want to see and talk to, i do. the others, who cares.

so i drank wine and walked around my old school. not too bad. but nothing great

they had one??? didnt John and Stephen go to the same school? i dont remember this.....lol

I wasn't invited since I got the boot from my highschool in Senior year and I wouldn't want to go to the reunion of the HS I graduated from. But if it were my old highschool, maybe. My friend invited me to be her 'date' but I thought that might give the nuns a heart attack.

ETA: It was held in the school cafeteria/auditorium/courtyard. Classy as usual.

I dont know if they had a 10 year reunion but they just had a 30 year reunion last year that I couldnt go to because I was getting married a couple of weeks later.

We did go to Jerrys 25 year reunion. I loved it- got to meet a whole bunch of his HS friends. and got to hear alot of stories when he was young.

Yes 25 yr and 30 year- remember I am old!!!

Our was at some loft in some bar in Brooklyn or Manhattan. I didn't even bother going....Could care less about catching up with people that I can't even remember there names...
