I also posted this on 2010 boards but i can use all the help i can get!!!!
So i got back two samples from my photographer and i dont know which one i like...I need help choosing.
Red Fade
Or Black Fade
Also, Do you think it would be totally classless if I were to send the Thank you card with a preprinted message already on them or should I write the message myself?

Black.
& I hand wrote all my ty's - so have a lot of '09 brides. To me it means something more that a bride & groom actually took the time to write something personal & meaningful instead of a pre-printed message...JMHO

ita, i feel like all my guests (well like 90%) were so generous and we were so happy they were able to share in our special day, so they deserve a nice message inside the thank you.

ITA with both of you. Though I wouldn't care if I got a preprinted one I would definitely notice it, ya know? I handwrote all of our thank yous and though it was a huge pain in the neck i felt it was the least I could do to show my appreciation.

Yep yep yep.
We actually had a preprinted message inside and then we also wrote a message inside each card.

I like the black better
IMO I think your guest would appreciate a hand written note, it makes it more personal, I know its more of a pain to hand write them all but its just more personal

O wow! i took me a while to figure out what was different.
i prefer the 2nd one ... the black fade. It makes the part with you 2 stand out more, which is what should stand out on a picture thank you card.

I like the black fade.... #2
At the risk of opening up a can of worms...
I would be *very* offended if I received a thank you card that was pre-printed and without some sort of a personalized message. I hand wrote all of mine. Took a long time, but it was important to me that our guests know how much we appreciated their generosity.

I like them both--but the black a bit more.
IMO these people traveled to your wedding, took 6+ hours out of their day to attend, and gave you a check/gift. I think its a bit tacky to not take 2 minutes of your time to write them a personal note to say thank you.

Re: THANK YOU CARDS!! WHICH ONE DO I PICK!??
I like the black background better. I do not think there is anything wrong with a pre-printed message. We had a message printed in each card but also have space to write a personal note in addition.

Re: THANK YOU CARDS!! WHICH ONE DO I PICK!??
Black. I hand wrote mine. I had a lot of down time at work so I wrote all of them out. Felt it was more personalized but if I did not have the free time I am not sure I would have hand written them all.
