The nincompoops I work for

You all know the wonderful stress I went through with them moving and I didn't even begin to post about the aftermath of that because it's still happening and I'd be writing for days.

Jump to today's idiotic question of the day from one of the attorneys I work for:

'How do you know if there's paper in the printer'

Me, deadpan face: 'look in the drawer'
Him: 'where's that'
Me: 'in front of the printer, pull out the drawer marked tray 3'
Him: 'where's that, on the side'
Me (thinking to myself, what part of front don't you get): 'in the FRONT of the printer'
Him: 'then what'
Me: 'pull it out, if there's paper, add some'
Him: no answer

Me:

The other day he came over w/another stupid question and I was in the midst of a hormonal meltdown and said 'it doesn't take a rocket scientist to press the go button on the **** thing' and he just looked at me and said 'what's wrong with you today?'

I swear, I know I'm pregnant, but they are working my every nerve lately. The next 3 months better go quick because I might kill them before I have this baby!!!!!

I'll just blame it on my ever raging hormones!

Debbie, you have the best sense of humor in the world, to be able to take something SO aggravating and make it SO funny!

I'm sorry the lawyers are such morons.

Oh Jen, I'm glad you think I have a sense of humor because they think I'm out of my mind and an idiot to boot!! The more I work with them, the more I don't know how they go to the bathroom w/o help!!!!

I'm outta here sweety!! Off to the dentist for a cleaning!!! Have a good night!!!

Deb, I've been on edge too, lately.

But that's rediculous! Its amazing to think that these guys have LAW DEGREES & are supposed to be INTELLIGENT . Is it beneath them to add paper to the printer?

Breathe easy girl ... pregnant or not ... its not you!

I hate when these POWER SNOBS dont even know the simplest things and it makes you wonder how THEY are YOUR BOSS ???

Keep the funny/stupid stories coming!

I had one coworker who left a pack of paper on my desk, insinuating that it was beneath her to add paper to the printer, and my boss told me 'just put it in the printer Anna' well not only did I put it right back on her desk, but I told her where to shove it and not to ever think of doing that again
My mouth gets me respect sometimes
(and trouble, others)

You guys have me hysterically laughing at my desk. It totally sounds like my office. My boss needs to be shown how to copy and paste things.

And no joke, we actually had to show a co-worker how to refill a STAPLER!!! She had thought it was broken and was ready to order another one!

I have ALWAYS said that every single employee should be an admin before getting any other job! In my company, no one seems to be able to buy milk or change the printer paper unless they have ovaries. And I say that ALL the time to the guys 'Did you know that you are allowed to change the printer paper even though you don't have ovaries? That ruling was overturned.'
