there's alot of wineries....Love Lane in Mattituck is a cute little street to walk down with some small shops...you could head out to Green Port & walk around..lots of shops and small art galleries. Many small towns on the way out...and garden centers.
DH and I went out to Greenport last fall, and it was gorgeous. We went to some wineries, stayed at a bed and breakfast and just enjoyed walking around the town and along the water. We had a great time!
greenport is really nice and yea the wineries. My brother lives in Southold so we are there very often. Problem is now that its summer the traffic is HORRIBLE because of the ferry so be careful when the ferries let out and on.
