Thurs - NWQOTD (and a Funny )

Happy Thursday Newlyweds!!
One More Day Til FRIDAY!!!




So - I had a little rare Wed Night snuggle time with DH last night, (rare as he usually works but was home early!) and it got me to thinking....

What is one fear you have in regards to your relationship with DH?

What is the best quality(s) you think you and DH's relationship has?



My fear - that I'll take him for granted. He just gets me, he does so much for me, works so hard and by his own admission can't say 'no' to me... and I'm afraid I'll take advantage and not appreciate him. It's something I make a conscious effort to think about every day so that he knows I see it..

Best Qualities - Our communication...there is nothing we can't stay to each other... and I love how we can laugh with each other (or at each other!)... we think way too much alike and can often times finish each others sentences (or he'll say something that I was just about to say...) I love that we're so in sync...



And just cause this cracked me up....

One fear? I'm not sure, I feel very, very secure in our relationship. I guess I'd say some outside force breaking us apart because I just can't see anything that we could do to each other to break us up.

Best part? We're a team. It doesn't always feel this way, but when I'm slacking, DH is always there to pick me right up and vice versa. I don't know how I'd manage without him and he certainly couldn't manage without me!

Fear - watching him go through a medical problem - he has a heart condition and it has never affected him. I just hope it always stays this way. I get to meet his cardiologist later in the year (it's his pediatric cardiologist too...which I find really funny).

Best Part - we're always laughing! I keep saying 'when is this going to get old' and it just never does. We're constantly finding new things funny all the time. I love laughing with him!

My feelings are very similar to both of yours...

Fears: I don't really have any, but if I think about it, I would be afraid of something coming between DH and I, whether it be an outside person or a job, or even my own mean streak or something like that.

Best Qualities: The fact that we're very much on the same page. We are really alike in so many ways, from our beliefs, to hobbies, to mindsets, the whole nine. That's one of my favorite things about our relationship. Also that we always stick up for one another. Having someone to back me up and knowing I have his back makes me feel like we're really connected.
